With over 20 years as a qualified Speech and Language Therapist, I help adults with their communication and/or swallowing difficulties, following acquired brain injury.
I am a specialist in working with people following stroke (e.g. aphasia), head injury, Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological conditions.
I will help you to improve your communication and the quality of your life, working with you in your home.
SPEECH AND LANGUAGE
Improving your communication
I assess your communication, and provide treatment including ideas to improve your speech and/or language recovery, improve your conversational skills, provide word-finding strategies and support you with reading and writing.
SWALLOWING
Improving your ability to eat and drink
I provide swallowing assessments and strategies to help you improve your swallowing and enjoy eating and drinking again.
